Head of department statement
As the head of the community
medicine department at Sabratha medical college , I am committed to promoting
the health and well-being of our community through education, research, and
service. Our department is dedicated to addressing the social determinants of
health, advocating for health equity, and collaborating with community partners
to improve population health outcomes.
We strive to train
future healthcare professionals in the principles of preventive medicine,
public health, and community engagement. Through our research efforts, we aim
to identify and address key public health issues facing our community. And
through our service initiatives, we work to empower individuals and communities
to make informed decisions about their health.
I am proud to lead a
team of dedicated faculty, staff, and students who are passionate about making
a difference in the lives of others. Together, we will continue to work towards
creating a healthier and more equitable future for all members of our

The vision of the community

The goals of the
community medicine department include:
